500T 35mm
Analog Abduction 500T (Eastman Kodak 5219) is a tungsten balanced film with significant color depth, punchy saturation, yet separating tonalities. Flesh tones have beautiful color renditions, and great highlight performance. Introduced to the motion picture industry in 2007, it’s the most versatile film of the VISION3 lineup. Can be used in daylight with an 85 filter at ISO 320, and under tungsten light with an ISO at 500. A dynamic, versatile emulsion for use all-day.
The VISION3 line by Eastman Kodak has a black carbon backing called rem-jet that eliminates static discharge and alleviates halation. Rem-jet is an important component of the films characteristics, but it would not pass the clearance of any lab and instead must be sent through the ECN-2 process that manually removes rem-jet.
Analog Abduction offers a service that provides respooling of the VISION3 line by the wits of their small three-fingered alien hands. And because aliens care deeply about the environment they mine for recycled film canisters with 400 speed DX codes. This allows a natural 1⁄3 stop overexposure but allows easy to load in cameras with automatic mode. In the early 20th century Eastman Kodak mined for silver in Cerro Gordo to manufacture early motion film stock, and as a homage to this history the packaging has an American Western flare.
As a disclaimer, since these are respooled and handled by aliens, there is a slight chance a few frames may have tiny scratches and/or marks.
